Next Baptism Sunday: April 29 | 9:15 & 10:45 AM Gatherings
Historically, the first step new followers of Jesus have taken is to follow His example through baptism. Jesus died, was buried, and rose on our behalf and He asks us to demonstrate our faith in Him by symbolically doing the same in water. The water has no power. Jesus gives us new life. But, it is important to publicly profess our faith, and the initial way that is done is through baptism. It does not make you a Christian. Only your faith in Christ does that.
THERE IS REALLY NOTHING LIKE CELEBRATING BAPTISM TOGETHER AS A CHURCH.
It’s a powerful demonstration of what Jesus has made us all about in finding new life in Him, and going forward together, regardless of the past. If you’d like to talk to someone about yourself or someone you know (including a child), being baptized, please let us know! Our church would love to celebrate with you.
We would love to be a part of your next step with Jesus in baptism.
