Between Sundays - September 22

A Note From Jason

Shoes, shoes, and more shoes! Let's bring them! Do not miss the opportunity to bless the wonderful children of Yellow Creek Elementary before the colder weather sets in. This is a tangible way for us to show love to those who are in need. You'll see the barrels in the upstairs lobby and the children's check-in area downstairs. I'm asking that every one of you considers participating. You can see the details below. Thanks for all the ways you love each other and those around you. It's a joy to be your pastor!

News & Announcements

Yellow Creek Shoe Drive
Through this Sunday, September 25, we are collecting new, closed toe children's shoes for students at Yellow Creek Elementary School in Middlesboro, KY. This is a great, tangible way that you and your family can serve these kids and their families. You can drop off these shoes in the blue bins located at both the downstairs and upstairs entrances. If you have any questions, email Jenny Pace.

Serve Our First Responders
The 2nd Annual First Responders Appreciation Event will be hosted at our church campus on Thursday evening, September 29 from 6:00-7:00 PM. This is a community event to honor and thank those who stand in the gap for us on a daily basis. Bob Kesling, the "Voice of the Vols," will be a special guest. We need many volunteers to assist those who are coordinating this event. You are also welcome to stop by and join us in saying THANK YOU! Please email Julie Schulze if you are willing to serve.

Upcoming Middle & High School Events
If you're a middle school student, come and bring your friends for an all-night event at JumpJam Knoxville on Friday, September 30. The night will begin at the church with a late night dinner and movie at 9:00 PM. Then we will take a bus over to JumpJam at 12:00 AM. Cost is $25. Sign up your student and pick up a waiver form at Connection Point on Sunday!

For our high school students, don't miss out on Fall Retreat, October 20-23. Students will enjoy a weekend retreat where they can experience God and enjoy community with their friends. We will be staying in Pigeon Forge, where we will have access to all that the area has available. This is not your typical weekend in the mountains. Our goal is for students to grow in their walks with God, while recharging emotionally and relationally. Cost is $100 if registered by October 1. Sign up your student today.
