A Note From Jason
It's a big week for us! We're continuing our sermon series, Headlines, this Sunday. I'll be preaching on the topic of sexuality. If you missed last week's discussion of terrorism, you can view it on our website. In addition, we are opening our new parking lot and lower entrance for young families. If you're a parent, we sent an email out with a few additional details that will be helpful for you. Come expectant and ready for God to move. Don't hesitate to invite a friend as well!
News & Announcements
Family Entrance Grand Opening
This Sunday, September 11, the new family entrance will be open to all families with children to check-in to our Shoreline Kids ministry! We're excited about the way this will improve the flow throughout our building, as well as help us keep our children secure. To those who gave to make this possible, THANK YOU!
Fall Short-Term Studies
Some short-term studies have already begun, but it's not too late to jump in. Have you checked out the offerings for this semester? These studies are a great way to strengthen your faith, to connect with other believers, and to grow in your relationship with Christ. Topics range from marriage, to money, to the study of other religions. Don't miss out! All studies and registration can be found at shorelineknox.com/shorttermstudies.
Nicaragua Interest Meeting
Shoreline is returning to minister to the people of Nicaragua from December 29 - January 5, and you are needed! Whether you're a seasoned world traveler, or have never been out of the country, this trip is an opportunity for you to join in on God's mission around the world. Join us after each service on Sunday, September 11 in Room 200 for an interest meeting. Email Garland Alford with questions.
Yellow Creek Shoe Drive
From Sunday, September 18-25, we will be collecting new, closed toe children's shoes for students at Yellow Creek Elementary School in Middlesboro, KY. This is a great, tangible way that you and your family can serve these kids and their families. Beginning September 18, you can drop off these shoes in the blue bins located at both downstairs and upstairs entrances, either on a Sunday or while the office is open. An opportunity to go drop off the shoes at Yellow Creek will be announced at a later date. If you have any questions, email Jenny Pace.
"Sing Over Us" Album & Shoreline Decals
If you haven't picked up our most recent album or a Shoreline decal, you can grab one at Connection Point this week. Use the album as a way to encourage someone this week! We provide these simply as a way to get our name out to the community, and to create pathways for gospel conversations to those around us.
