A Note From Jason
If you weren't with us last Sunday, we introduced our Shine sermon series. If you missed, I'd encourage you to go back and watch it. In addition, our 2017 Ministry Plan was also distributed. Be sure to pick up a physical copy this Sunday. In the meantime, you can see everything online as well. Be sure to look through that thoroughly if you are a partner. We'll take a moment to vote on the budget part of the plan this Sunday. Let us know if you have any questions before then. I am excited about the year ahead. We are off to a great start!
News & Announcements
We want to help equip you to hit the ground running with many of the topics that we'll be introducing on Sunday mornings. Each Wednesday throughout the series, we're inviting everyone back to hear more about some next steps they can take. Dinner will be available at 6:00 PM, and each session will begin promptly at 6:30 PM and will last for about 60 minutes. We'd encourage you to make every effort to attend! Childcare is also available. See the full schedule at shorelineknox.com/shine.
Our next Shoreline 101 class (formerly Launch Point) begins this Sunday, January 15 and 22 during the 10:45 AM worship gathering. This two-week class will walk you through our Shoreline vision, as well as present you with all the ways to get involved in the life of the church. During the second week, you'll have the opportunity to join Shoreline in partnership. Register here.
Parent's Night Out
Parents, do you need a date night or just a break? Then make sure to mark your calendars for January 27 from 6:00-10:00 PM for our Parent's Night Out. Infants through 5th Graders are invited to a fun evening at the church, where they will receive dinner and enjoy fun activities while their parents take a break. The event is free for Shoreline Church families - no strings attached! Registration is required.
If you would like to help serve our families by volunteering for Parents Night Out, email Josh Buckner at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Local Ministry Opportunities
Showing the love of Jesus to our community is one of the most important things we do as a church, and we want to learn more about where you are serving and are connected locally. Will you help us by taking a quick one question survey? Thanks in advance!
