Between Sundays - March 16

A Note From Jason

I hope you are doing well! We'll be back in the round this Sunday so be sure to be there! Also, we have several other important things coming up. Don't forget that we need your help with our work day on Sunday afternoon. We also have Core Classes starting next week that you should really consider. They are going to be great!

Finally, I want to personally thank Brian and Jenny Pace for their friendship and service to our body. You can see details below. But, they will be greatly missed. Make sure you love on them well over the next couple weeks!

News & Announcements

Core Classes
Core Classes begin next week! Each term will last 8 weeks each, and will consist of a doctrinal, relational, and financial offering. A student track is also available for middle and high school students. Childcare is provided. Learn more and sign up today!

Campus Work Day
As part of our Phase 2 Renovations and in preparation for Easter, we are hosting a work day on Sunday, March 19 at 2:00 PM. We'll be ripping out old carpet, doing demo in the student room, moving classroom furniture, and much more. All skill levels are welcome! Please plan to join us. Stay as long as you can or want that afternoon.

We are in need of the following tools: safety glasses, box cutters, knee pads, hammers, floor brooms, push brooms, shovels, shop vacuum, wheelbarrow, and flat hand carts. If you can't make it Sunday and want to serve, please email Brandon Kennedy. No childcare is provided.

Internship & Residency
We are excited to be able to continue to offer our Shoreline Internship & Residency programs. This program exists to train, challenge, and deploy the next generation for ministry, while gaining practical ministry experience. Learn more here, and be sure to apply by April 17 for internships and May 15 for residencies!

Join Our Choir!
The choir is back! If you would like to serve by helping to lead our church family in worship, this is the opportunity for you. Our first meeting will be Wednesday, March 22 at 5:30 PM in the Worship Center. Contact Chuck Hooten with questions.

Children's Ministry Transition
Jenny Pace, our current Children's Ministry Director, is transitioning away from her role. Jenny, Brian, and their children are moving to Nashville as a result of an exciting job opportunity for Brian. We will never be able to say enough thanks for all they've done over the last 5 years, but we want to try! We'll be celebrating them on a Sunday very soon!

While we will miss Jenny's leadership with our children's ministry, we are thankful for a smooth transition of leadership to Laura Hale. Laura has a Master's Degree in Childhood Education, is a former teacher, and is a great help to Jenny right now. She handles all scheduling currently and is very familiar with our ministry. We know that she'll build on the great foundation that Jenny has established in this ministry. As you honor Jenny with us, be sure to welcome Laura as well.
