Easter With Shoreline
Easter is coming up in just over a week, and we are excited to worship our risen Savior with you! We'll have worship gatherings at 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30 AM. We're asking all of our regular partners to try to attend either the 8:30 or 11:30 gathering as we anticipate the most guests at the 10:00 hour. We'll also have invite cards available in the upstairs lobby this Sunday that you can take and distribute to those in your workplace or neighborhood. You can also direct people to shorelineknox.com/easter for more information.
If you want to hang out with other men and eat some great BBQ, join us on Saturday evening, April 8, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. We'll be meeting at the Dunaway home off Keller Bend. If you'd like to attend, please RSVP to Julie Schulze. We'll send you final details and directions.
We believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. It is our hope that we can partner with you from the very beginning. We want to be your biggest fans, your strongest supporters, and your trusted guides as you raise your child to know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Child Dedication is more than an event. It is an opportunity for you to take the right first steps at the beginning of your journey as a parent to really think about what will matter the most in the life of your child.
To participate in Child Dedication, you'll need to attend “First Steps” on April 30 from 10:45-11:45 AM. Child Dedication will be the following Sunday, May 7. Please register online by April 23 so we can plan accordingly or sign up at Connection Point.
At a Shoreline 101 class, you’ll learn all about our history, mission, vision, doctrine, and commitments. You'll learn if partnership is for you, you’ll meet a few new people, and briefly share your story. The next opportunity will be held on Sunday, April 23 and 30 during the 10:45 service in Room 201. Let us know you're coming here!
Serve Hope Fellowship
Hope Fellowship is having a Women's Wellness Event on Saturday, May 13 and would appreciate our help with childcare. Many women from their church and community cannot afford childcare, so they are asking Shoreline for help watch kids from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. If you are able to help with this, please email Julie Schulze.
Recovery Ministry Beginning Next Year
One of our goals for 2018 is to begin offering a recovery ministry here with Shoreline. However, in order to do this, we need to begin to prepare leaders. If you have a recovery background (not just in chemical addiction, but any recovery from a hurt, habit or hangup), or if you have an interest in walking with others in recovery, we would like to talk to you about an opportunity for God to use your story of recovery in the lives of others. Please contact Henry at firstname.lastname@example.org.
