We exist to bring glory to God by making disciples through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, gospel-centered service and gospel-centered multiplication. This is our mission and process for discipleship. Out of this, gospel-centered service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those in and outside the church. One of the ways we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities.
Volunteers on our Guest Services team are some of the first people our attendees come in contact with at weekend services. They serve our church every week or every other week. They greet people before services, help people find seats, work in Connection Point and make first touches to guests who step onto our campus.
Volunteers on the Production team keep things running smoothly during our weekend services and at events so that our attendees have a great experience meeting with the Lord and the church. They run the lighting and sound booth during services, put up slides for services and set up for services and events.
Volunteers for Shoreline Students are critical to raising up the next generation of Christ followers. You can choose to serve with middle school or high school. You may attend regular student events, meet with students outside of church, and provide a point of contact between the church and their parents.
Volunteers in Shoreline Kids minister to our babies - 5th graders during weekend worship services through singing with the children, telling stories and teaching the truth of God's Word. They check in kids, lead classrooms, provide assistance to classroom teachers and sing or help leads kids in worship and teaching.
Volunteers on our Worship team use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through the expression of worship to the Lord through music. They lead worship at weekend services and other ministries and events throughout the week and sing or play an instrument in the worship band.
Prayer & Care
Our prayer and care team are those who constantly seek the Lord on behalf of our church and our people. These people regularly pray for our weekend worship gatherings, prayer requests that are submitted, and encourage those who desire prayer during one of weekly worship gatherings.
