How To Give To Shoreline

database transition announcement:

If you have set up recurring giving for your gifts to Shoreline, be sure to read the following information! At the end of 2017, we will be transitioning away from our current giving system, EasyTithe, to TouchPoint, our new online database and giving tool. In order to establish a new account with TouchPoint, select the “Set Up Recurring Giving” link below. Once you fill out the required fields, you will receive an email confirming your account and a link to set up a password. From there, you will be able to set up your recurring gift options. Once your account is confirmed, you can return to EasyTithe using the button below, go to “Scheduled Giving”, and click “Delete Schedule”.

If you give via text, that system will remain in place for the time being while a new mobile payment option is under development. If you give one-time gifts, those will now be made through TouchPoint as well. The first time you select "Make A One-Time Gift", you'll be guided through the necessary steps to create an account for record-keeping purposes.

Also note that just like on EasyTithe, you will be able to return to TouchPoint, log in to your account, and see giving records, update your personal info, and change giving details.

For technical issues in setting up a new TouchPoint account, email info@shorelineknox.com.
For specific financial questions, including records, email giving@shorelineknox.com.

Other Giving Options

We will gladly accept gifts of stocks or bonds. Donations of this type are sold immediately when received, regardless of what the market may be doing at that time. You will need to notify us when you plan to initiate a stock transfer into our account so that we can provide you with the account and transfer numbers. We will also take your information at that time to ensure you receive the giving credit on your contribution statement.

You can also donate appreciated securities.  Doing so means you’ll receive an immediate tax deduction and can help you avoid paying capital gains tax on the appreciated portion of their value. Gifts also have the potential to reduce future estate taxes.

Please contact giving@shorelineknox.com if you have any questions or problems using the online giving tool!

Financial Integrity

Shoreline is committed to the highest levels of financial integrity and giving systems. The Lord is leading many individuals, families, and partners to give to Shoreline. We don’t take that lightly and are committed to stewarding those monies well. We’re determined to be wise with our finances and avoid unnecessary financial pressure or strain. We have a clear vision of how God is leading us to minister and thus we need financial resources to push forward. Your faithfulness in giving allows you to be a part of this.

For questions about finances, e-giving, and other information related to money, please email giving@shorelineknox.com.

It will include funds designated towards personnel, worship ministry, rent/lease, small groups, children's ministry, advertising/promotion, administration, fellowship, insurance and legal fees, community service initiatives, missions, cooperative giving, and more.
