The Welcome Team’s mission is to provide an environment that makes all on campus feel welcomed, loved, cared for, safe, informed and valued while creating engagement opportunities for all.
Areas To Serve:
-
Door greeters are some of the first faces people see on Sunday mornings! This role is more than holding a door—it sets the tone for a great Sunday morning experience! Whether it’s someone’s first time on campus or their 100th, we want everyone to experience the love of JESUS, and this starts at the doors!
-
A big part of a great Sunday experience is finding a seat! Ushers help seat people each service, making this part of a Sunday morning easy for both guests and regulars.
-
Info Tents are a place where people can find all of the information they need about Shoreline. The volunteers serving here will welcome both guests and regulars and help them find ways they can plug in to the life of our church.
-
The volunteers in this area will welcome people to Shoreline by helping with flow of traffic and finding parking for every one on our campus.
-
This team supports Sunday volunteers! They serve by maintaining the volunteer and green room on Sunday mornings.
-
This team is made up of people from the medical field who ensure that proper medical help is available to assist those in need while on campus.
-
This team works with our police officers to ensure the campus is safe at all times, addressing issues when appropriate.
