Worship

Worship is acknowledging God for who He is and rationally responding accordingly. When we worship, we see God for who He is and respond with our lives. Worship transforms us by the renewing of our mind. This happens day by day, minute by minute, hour by hour.

But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship
him must worship in spirit and truth.
— John 4: 23-24

Make this a Rhythm in your life: Worship should be so much more than a once a week event. Gathering on Sundays is vital and so valuable, but that is not where our worship should end! Worship is seeing God for who He is, and responding by transforming our lives. And it should be done daily.

Challenge: Worship is so much more than a weekly gathering. We can worship through prayer, music, or silence. We can worship at home, in nature, or in the car. We can also worship through thankfulness and obedience to what God is saying. There are so many ways to worship! Choose one today. And for the next week, practice that act of worship. Be with God and let him transform you through your worship.
